We are driving out west to Mills River, NC for our second visit to the Mountian Hort Crop Research and Extension Center for their 2025 Field Day.

This is a great opporuntity to appreciate the special role of agriculture in in North Carolina. Travel around the Mtn. Hort property to see researchers at their field projects. We will hear from our apple team in the orchard, tomato breeding in tomato fields, alternative crops with our hop yard and medicinal herb plot, vegetable pathology program, nursery crop improvements, and more!
