"Launching an Iris Farm... Sustainably," describes how Broley Homestead maintains its perennial iris collection using financially and ecologically sustainable methods. We are pleased to share our experience with research-based agricultural practices that maintain soil health, promote biodiversity, and benefit future generations.

Attendees will receive gift irises and samples of sustainable horticultural growing media. For example, coconut coir, parboiled rice hulls, locally sourced arborist mulch, and pelletized wool waste.

This public event is a collaboration between the Piedmont Daylily Club, and iris farm the Broley Homestead.
